Goodbye

Journal Entry: Sat Dec 8, 2007, 7:55 PM
It's been a long time on this account. A good 5 years now? Alot's happened since then, and dA has been somewhere in the background for all that time. I'm almost 20 and it feels like it's been an eternity since I was 15. Secondry school felt like it was the be-all and end-all, but I never realised theres so much more in life that would happen. Not all of it good but without the bad how can we ever apreciate the good things.

I know that it'll be hard to say goodbye to this time in my life but times change and so do people, myself included. It may seem rediculous to others but in some way I really am sad to say goodbye to Unimatsuriku Oshiguma. He'll still exist within the Unimatrix story and it'll still be worked on, but personally I've moved on from his time.

I knew that at my age of adulthood it would be time to move forward with a new mindset, and Version 4 is almost here. I know it's not quite how I expected, theres alot of myself thats still arround, more than I thought would be but thats the way of things. Nothing quite turns out how you expect. Enough of me is different to know I'm not him though and thats whats important here. I'm leaving him behind now and moving forward.

With that said, this account is closed. The few parts of it I liked will remain, but the rest will be storaged. The chapter of Unimatsuriku is closed, and the chapter of Vi is opened.

Bye.

We're Back

Journal Entry: Tue Apr 17, 2007, 4:47 AM
So I updated a few things, threw some photo's in and did a little spring cleening, yes I am back - not that anymore than one person actually checks my page haha.

So yeah, I'm here and it's been interesting, passed through the second semester of University and now it's the easter holidays. Feels like it just flew by.

I'm currently spending my time plotting a new dnd campain for the guys at Uni, and with any luck I think it should go very well. I'm learning alot more stuff this time arround and I feel like a better DM for it, I'm glad I got all those books at Easter and more so that I downloaded pretty much every book available for extra refrence. Though having so many rules and choices is a bit annoying at times, you have to restrict player access or you may end up with a PunPun on your hands! (www.justfuckinggoogleit.com)

Anyways, so with that well underway I'm also playing alot of Beatmania and getting very good. I'm playing Happy Sky at the moment and I'm stuck on lv.6, it's such a steep learning curve! So annoying.

Well the tests are soon to come with Maths and Programming on the horizon, I'm a little worried but I think I just need to do some revision and I'll be fine. Theres nothing too complex about it at the end of the day just a matter of knowing the process.

Lastly I'm doing well with Nic, we're having a great time with one another and it's been the best time of my life :) every day with her is so good. I can't wait for september when we can live together and be with eachother more often. I can finally have a normal relationship, somthing I've dreamed of. Not long distance, not insane, just perfect ^_^.

I guess other than that theres not much to say, contemplating some art but it's unlikely it'll be done. Laters.

Inverse Polarity

Journal Entry: Mon Feb 19, 2007, 3:52 PM
Well it's been a few months and here I am again, writing to an audience without substance. I guess thats not what journals are about though, more a chance to get stuff off your mind? I dunno, but anyways. So recent months have been eventfull.

I'm back at Uni, doing the video games course in the second semester having much fun. We're currently doing the game design, 3D modeling, and animation modules which are better than system organisation and perspectives of computer science. So far we're learning quite alot and the C++ programing is still going and it's getting a little more complex with Arrays and custom data types.

I'm still listening to the Arctic Monkies but I'm still kinda on the fence between that and techno. I've been listening to a bunch of stuff, but pretty much the same old with some more Gabba thats come about since christmas.

In terms of relationships I'm now in a steady relationship with Nic which although having come under some scrutiny has definitly been one of the best and most successfull so far in my life. Consequentally my friendship with Andy has distanced unsurprisingly but being that I'm in London 90% of the months we barely spent any time hanging out anymore anyway. In any case, I love her loads and she makes coming back to Braintree alot more plesent.

In art news I'm working on doing some 3D models of the Cannon Rifles and I'm contemplating starting some concept work for the game design. I've not been doing any art what with work and games taking up most of my time recently.

Speaking of games I've been playing quite alot recently. A mix between WoW, HL2, Warcraft 3 and some counterstrike. It's been quite fun so far. I also got uplink which is pretty fun, pretending to be a hacker and all.

So far life is pretty okay, just doing work and attending lectures and such, it's all kinda speeding by. I don't see nic as much as I'd like but thats expected with long distance, I can't wait for the holidays when we can just be together and I can get a job or somthing. In anycase, until then I'll just deal with life as it comes. Not much else we can do...

Christmasnessedness

Journal Entry: Tue Dec 26, 2006, 7:36 AM
Well all in all I didn't find anything too special about this holiday. It was nice being home, but the days themselves didn't seem too epic at all, like it has done in the past.

My birthday was on the 19th and I dind't mind about that, then there was the 24'th and 25th. I didn't get much this year because I started University and my parents got a new kitchen etc. So I got aftershave and a book, which was still pretty nice. I also got some money so i can't wait to go buy some dice and more books.

I mainly coulden't wait for the christmas dinner which was - as usual - lovely. We also spent our christmas day at my reletives, which was also fun, got to know my cousin better and it turns out we have alot more in common. He showed me some Gabba music, and we were playing guitar hero. It was fun.

So I'm currently reading Cityscape, this incredible book details Urban adventuring in dungeons and dragons. It explains how cities on dnd fucntion, it details information on new classes, new monsters and urban specialized feats, and spells. My favourite bit so far is the Zeigeist monster, an incorpeal creature made of the city it spawned from. It's so incredible when I envision it, but since it's motives are decided by the state of the people within the city it's behaviour can be very strange.

I'm also borrowing my cousin's Vampire the Masquerade RP book. It's a very interesting book also, I've not read everything but thats mainly cause I know most of the details from a prior interest. I'm currently learning to understand how games work and how to fill in the charecter sheet - how skills work and stuff. It's all quite interesting and I'll probably make a charecter to understand how it works propperly.

I still need to work more on the dnd though. I'm considering having weekly sessions once University starts. I'll spend just enough on travel that I have plenty of money left to spend over the week on shopping. At least then I can see friends regularly, and we can play dnd more, getting through our campeign steadilly and having fun.
